The Black River Falls Route is located on the edge of the Driftless Area near Black River Falls, Wisconsin. Although technically the Driftless Area ends at Interstate 94, we have extended the route beyond the border to include a neat Wisconsin Rustic Road, #54. Access to Wisconsin Rustic Road #91 is also included on this route.
The majority of this route is located in the hills and valleys south and and east of Black River Falls, between the Black and Trempealeau Rivers. These valleys are very secluded and provide many great twists and turns. Riders with smaller gas tanks will want to keep an eye on their fuel situation as there are some long stretches between gas stations. The Black River Falls route is located on the northeast edge of the Driftless Area and is a great gateway for those coming into the area from the northeast part of Wisconsin.
