The Kettle Moraine Route is a 2 day ride in Eastern Wisconsin and is actually 2 different types of rides. The first day starts in Milwaukee and explores the Lake Michigan shoreline as much as possible. There are wonderful sights on this leg, which also includes two Wisconsin Rustic Roads. Be aware that these 2 Rustic Roads include gravel and/or sand portions, so we have identified alternative paved routes. This leg finishes in Plymouth, Wisconsin.
The second day of the ride turns back South following the beautiful Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive. It includes 2 more Wisconsin Rustic Roads and a visit to Holy Hill. Be sure and climb to the top of the tower for amazing views of the surrounding countryside. Although this trip is great any time, riding after the leaves have changed colors is spectacular!
