Check out our new loop in Idaho!

The Boise Lowman Loop is a paved ride located in Southwest Idaho (near Boise). This is an amazing ride with almost constant curves and hills. There are several long climbs and descents in the Boise National Forest, especially along the Payette River.

Winter (Non-Riding) Activities:
Living is Northwestern Illinois means that riding in the winter months is severly curtailed. The next few days are supposed to be below zero (with the wind chill). On top of that, salted roads make riding challenging.
Here are some of the activities that we are working on:
Blocking the calendar and planning trips. We have found in the past that if we don't block out time early, our calendar fills in and we don't take trips. So we have had a couple planning sessions and we will probably have a few more.
Creating new routes for our trips and in other new areas. We love exploring new areas and so we always create new routes for our trips. In addition to that we are usually working on routes in other fun areas as special projects that are always in motion.
Setting up my new (to me) motorcycle. I have not discussed this much, but I wrecked my motorcycle in October (Friday the 13th!!). Luckily, I was not injured, but the bike was totaled. I have replaced the bike, but I am still busy setting it up and learning the new technology. I have some dash cam video of the crash that I will share in a future blog post.
Here is a picture of the new ride (please ignore the messy workbench!)
What are you doing to keep busy if you can't ride? Drop us a line or comment on the post. We are always interested in hearing from you and getting new ideas!
Safe Travels,
Dale and Renee
