Last week we highlighted our Pecatonica Wisconsin Route. This week, we are highlighting an adjacent ride, the Taliesin Route.
The Taliesin Route:

The Taliesin Route is named for Frank Lloyd Wright’s homestead, Taliesin, near Spring Green, Wisconsin. It explores the hills and valleys on the south side of the Wisconsin River between Avoca and Black Earth, Wisconsin.  This route is home to many attractions: The House on the Rock, Taliesin, Governor Dodge and Blue Mounds State Parks and Blackhawk Lake just to name a few.
The roads are mostly county and named roads; smaller and lightly traveled. On the northwest end of the route is an amazing stretch where the road seems to be carved out of the rock face right next to the Wisconsin River. Â The route is loaded with amazing roads that follow the many ridges and valleys that empty into the Wisconsin River Valley.
